Throughout our marriage, Alex and I picked out art work and furnishings collectively that we each preferred. However after our cut up, I wished to attempt to make the home really feel like my very own, as I start this new chapter. First, I swapped out a couple of household photographs, and reorganized the bookcases, and made certain we had been totally stocked with Reese’s.
Then, as luck would have it, I stumbled throughout this When Harry Met Sally poster on-line. The 1989 rom com is firmly ranked amongst my high 5 motion pictures (together with Goodfellas and The Father and Drive Majeure and this cult traditional), so I ordered one as a present from myself to myself and ended up hanging it in my toilet. The poster itself is gigantic, and it feels good to see it and smile once I’m brushing my tooth or combing my hair. They really feel like outdated friends.
Aspect observe: For toilet artwork particularly, Lucy Mahon’s prints (scorching tub, heat tub) are cute, too, don’t you suppose?
